Media Alert: The South African Human Rights Commission, Limpopo Provincial Office to host a workshop for Human Rights Champions with a special focus on the monitoring conducted by the SAHRC.

The SAHRC Limpopo Provincial Office (LPO) will conduct the Human Rights Champions Workshop from the 07th to the 8th of February 2024. The workshop is part of empowering the Human Rights Champions who play an important role in different communities and who assist the SAHRC in the advancement of human rights.

The Human Rights Champions should have an intensive understanding of the Constitution and its values of administrative justice, transparency, and accountability. The LPO has thus resolved to host the workshop which will educate the Human Rights Champions and further equip them for the role they play in advancing human rights.

 

The workshop is scheduled as follows:

 

Venue          : Bolivia Lodge, Polokwane

Dates           : 07 – 08 February 2024
